*** Thank you for your interest. The survey has closed. Congratulations to our two iPod shuffle winners ***

One drawing will be held for high-school students, and another for a second iPod shuffle will be held for college students. We reserve the right to verify identity and enrollment. One entry per person, please. To help ensure this, we've had to set the survey to accept one and only one entry per computer station.

  • High school students and 2006 graduates, please take the High School Survey.

  • Current college students, please take the College Survey.

  • Are you or have you been employed as an Engineer, Computer Scientist, Technician, Scientist, or Mathematician? If so, please take the Technical Type survey. (Sorry, we are only offering Starving Students a chance at a shuffle at this time.)

The goal of the OPAS Initiative is to increase the number, diversity, and academic preparedness of Oregon students who choose Engineering and Applied Science disciplines for post-secondary study and careers. Successful students will better themselves, our economy and our society through their productivity and innovation.

As part of understanding the issues associated with achieving this goal, we'd like to know more about current high school and college students, and practicing engineers. So, we came up with the idea of a focus group ... an electronic focus group to maximize our exposure ...

Please pass this url to all interested parties and encourage your friends, fellow students and colleagues to take one of these surveys. When we have results to post, they'll be linked to this page.

Thank you very much for your help and your time,
