Scott Giltz
Dean, Technical Career Education Division, Clackamas Community College
Scott is an enthusiastic advocate of the pathways model.
Fred Haynes Dean, Linn-Benton Community College Fred is active in many professional groups, and is committed to creating a system that will outlive the personal relationships that keep things moving now.
Ron Jantzi Director of Engineering, Math and Science, Chemeketa CC Ron is organized and insightful about the wide range of issues and skills in his student populations.
Dave Johnson Professor; ONAMI (Oregon Nanoscience and Microtechnologies Institute); Outreach for MSI (Materials Science Institute), UO Dave is emphatic about communicating to kids how to keep options open - all the pathways, not just the highway.
Pat Kraft Faculty Dept. Chair, Machine Manufacturing Technology, PCC Sylvania Pat is concerned about the high demand from industry for his graduates that is not being met because of the difficulties keeping enrollment up. He also likes Aloha shirts on gloomy days.
Gary Naseth Associate Provost, OIT Gary travels frequently around the state.
Jo Oshiro OPAS Staff Support Jo came to OPAS after 10 years "at home" as personal assistant to a kid who's done soccer, Girl Scouts, LEGO Robotics, marching band. In a previous life, Jo did a variety of computer programming and support.
Sam Tupou Director of School Improvement, Lane County ESD Sam takes a global view, and would like all career pathways information centrally located to support counselors and students.
